BGV GRAPHITE

Victor Tanai has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry.
Since 1983, he has worked at major mining and processing enterprises – in leading companies of both the Ukrainian and international markets: he has held managerial positions in some of the largest companies in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, such as Joint-Stock Company YUZHNYI GOK (Kryvyi Rih), State Joint Stock Company UKRRUDPROM (which incorporated all the iron ore companies and flux and dolomite companies in Ukraine), PJSC State Holding Company Titan of Ukraine, and others. In 2019, Viktor Tanai joined BGV Group Management as the head of the BGV Graphite project as well as a member of the Board of the Investment Group.

Vitalii Misiutynskyi joined the BGV Graphite project team in 2022 to implement the construction of a graphite enterprise and optimise the operation of the existing mining plant. He has over 24 years’ experience in the mining industry. Since 1999, he has held managerial positions in large industrial enterprises specialising in the extraction and enrichment of graphite ore and production of graphite products. He has relevant experience in implementing investment projects within the scope of the construction of a graphite mining plant. As a project manager, he collaborated with major international graphite companies (China, Germany, Brazil, and Australia).

Vita Khizhniak joined the BGV team in 2019. She has more than 10 years’ experience supporting mining and raw materials projects in Ukraine and abroad (green field projects for the extraction and processing of iron ore, manganese, titanium, graphite, etc., in Peru, India and Ukraine) including managing international offices of the companies. She is responsible for the management of the company’s foreign economic activities in mining and processing projects, the selection of technological partners and consultants, the signing and monitoring the execution of the company’s international agreements. She has a master’s degree in financial management.

Ihor Hamalinskyi has over 30 years’ experience as a mining engineer. He joined the BGV Graphite team in 2022. Prior to that, he was chief project engineer at SE State Institute Kryvbasproekt (Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk region), where he was involved in the development of scientific solutions and recommendations for quarry construction and reconstruction projects. Also, as an independent expert and project manager, he participated in large-scale projects for the construction of plants for extracting and processing of iron and gold-bearing ores, sandstones, titanium-zirconium sands, and projects for mining and reclaiming the quarry’s excavated space. Ihor is a member of the All-Ukrainian organisation Guild of Designers in Construction. He has two qualification certificates: design engineer and lead design engineer.

Natalia Zubchenko joined the BGV Graphite project team in 2023. She has over 20 years of professional experience. Previously, she worked as a chief engineer in the leading industrial companies in Ukraine. She was involved in the design and development of parts for aircraft at the Kharkiv State Aviation Production Enterprise and headed the project design work at SE State Institute for Enterprise Design in the Ore Mining Industry KRYVBASPROEKT. Nataliia is a member of the All-Ukrainian organisation Guild of Designers in Construction. She has a qualification certificate in the category — leading design engineer (engineering and construction design in the part of ensuring the safety of operation, regarding construction objects of the class of consequences (compliance) of ССЗ (significant consequences).

Vitalii Semeniuk has more than 20 years’ professional experience both in Ukraine and internationally. He became a member of the BGV Graphite project in 2022 where he is working on the development and design of the technological process of flotation and chemical enrichment of graphite and graphite spheroidisation. For 20 years his work has been focused on graphite ore and he has headed one of Europe’s larges processing plants for the production of graphite and graphite-based products.

Has 20 years of experience in mining and exploration industry, PFS and FS in mining projects, including iron, titanium, manganese, nickel and copper, rare metals and REE projects. Priority areas of professional activity are project management at various stages of mining cycle, risk assessment, as well as implementation of sustainability in mining industry. Mariia is an expert of the State Commission on Mineral Resources of Ukraine in the field of geological and economical assessment, feasibility study and regulatory support for exploration. She is a member of professional domestic and international organizations – the Academy of Mining Sciences of Ukraine, EAGE, SEG. Mariia participates in international EU programs in the field of critical mineral raw materials and development of the EU Geological Survey. Mariia joined the BGV Graphite team in 2024, where she designs and implements geological study, mineral resources and reserves evaluation, fulfills regulatory requirements for subsoil, and adheres to ESG principles in subsoil use.

Yanina Matskiv joined the BGV Graphite team in 2024, where she ensures compliance with environmental legislation, the company’s internal environmental standards, compliance with ESG principles and sustainable development reporting. She has over 14 years of experience in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development. Since 2011, she has worked in the system of central executive bodies in the field of environmental safety, environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, environmental control and assessment of environmental damage, as well as state supervision (control). In particular, in the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine. In 2020, she headed the Department of Ecology, Natural Resources and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration. He has extensive experience working at enterprises of various forms of ownership in the field of geological study and rational use of subsoil, waste management, adaptation to climate change, and systems for monitoring, reporting, and verification of greenhouse gas emissions.
